80th anniversary of the creation of the National Army [FOTO]

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the creation of the National Army, converted from the Armed Forces Union. On this occasion, the 8th Coast Defence Fleet Commander Vladimir Kulagin and the delegation placed flowers at the monument of the White Eagle at the confluence of the streets: Krzywousty, Paderewski and Wyszyński in Świnoujście. The anniversary celebrations were also attended by representatives of the Świnouian local authorities, uniforms, Kombatan organizations and scouts.
On 14 February 1942, the National Army, a underground military independence organization, part of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland operating during World War II in the country, was established, subject to the Chief Chief and government of the Republic of Poland in exile. The National Army was the largest underground military organization in Europe during World War II. "Following my order of 3 September 1940, I am abolishing the name of OGM for internal use. Military conspiracy existed in occupied territories before. In September 1939, the Polish Victory Service was established, soon converted into the Armed Forces Union, as well as numerous independent organizations. The Chief Leader's order to appoint the AK was intended to merge them.
The task of the Home Army was to participate in the reconstruction of the Polish state through the armed struggle, the culmination of which was to be a nationwide uprising. The basic forms of action were sabotage, diversion and propaganda. Later, partisan actions were undertaken, based on the silent country.
