AIDAmar ends cruise season in Gdynia port

This morning, the last cruiser of this year’s season arrived at the port of Gdynia – majestic AIDAmar. This 253,22 metre ship not only lit up the dark autumn sky, but also symbolically closed another intense tourist year for Gdynia. The last goodbye was tonight at the French wharf.
Touring season 2023 at Gdynia Port is over, and the last accent of this year is the cruiser's visit AIDAmar. The ship, which flew to Gdynia nine times during the season, arrived in the morning, lighting the autumn sky above the port. Beautifully lit, he attracted attention not only to lovers of the sport of sport, but also to walkers who had the opportunity to admire him from close proximity. That's it. AIDAmar symbolically ends the season that began on 2 May by visiting another cruiser, AIDAiva.
AIDAmar, with an impressive length of 253.22 metres, takes on board an average of 2,370 passengers on each cruise. His stop in Gdynia was over 10 hours. In total, in the 2023 season, 42 cruisers took about 100,000 passengers to port. These are the numbers they do. the impression and show how important the port on the tourist map of Europe is Gdynia.
Today, by 18.22, you could see this impressive ship on the French wharf. It was an excellent opportunity to say goodbye to the cruise season in a unique way. Port Gdynia encouraged residents and tourists for walks and taking pictures, which could have been a wonderful souvenir after this year's series of tours.
After goodbye today AIDAmar, Port Gdynia enters the winter break, preparing to welcome further cruisers in April 2025. It was an intense season full of tourists and sea giants who visited the Gdynia port regularly. In a few months, the ships will again fill the waterfront, bringing with them the breezes of great sea voyages.
