Baltic Pipe next decisions

On December 6, 2019, the Zachodniopomorskie Voivodeship issued a notice announcing the initiation of an administrative procedure for the adoption of a decision to establish the location for the investment of the public target entitled „Pomorskie pipeline Baltic Pipe – part of Poland". The decision will be issued following the procedure under the Act on Investments in the Regissification Terminal of Liquefied Natural Gas in Świnoujście (the so-called specialty).
The application submitted by GAZ-SYSTEM covers the properties located in Pogorzelica, where the transmission infrastructure connected with the departure of the Baltic Pipe offshore pipeline and part of the sub-marine pipeline located in Polish maritime areas will be built.
The construction of the offshore pipeline is one of five projects implemented under the Baltic Pipe project in Poland. The issue of a localization decision in the first quarter of 2020 by the Zachodniopomorskie Voivodeship will allow the GAZ-SYSTEM Company to submit an application for a construction permit decision for this part of the Baltic Pipe project.
