China, Iran and Russia will launch joint maneuvers

The warships of Russia, Iran and China will take part in joint maneuvers, said RIA Novosti on Tuesday, citing the Russian Pacific Fleet.
Pacific Fleet Group She entered the port of Chabahar in southeastern Iran on that day, over the Oman Gulf. In addition to taking part in the exercises, Russian units will replenish the food, water and fuel supplies there.
Not specified when exactly the manoeuvres will take place.
The Pacific Fleet ships departed Vladivostok a few days before the end of 2021. During the current expedition they have in the plan of exercises in different regions of the world.
On Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin will take his Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raisi in Moscow. They are to discuss, among other things, negotiations on the revival of the 2015 nuclear agreement. Russia is one of the signatories to the nuclear agreement with Iran and participates, in this capacity, in the Vienna talks on restoring the legal power of the agreement.
The nuclear agreement concluded in 2015, known as JCPOA, assumed that Iran would not enrich uranium to a level higher than 3.67%, in exchange for the abolition of international sanctions imposed on this country.
