CSIC presented the new UUV Haishen 6000 on Airshow China 2022

Airshow China is successfully held for 13 years in a row. In 2022, China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC) presented a new unmanned Haishan submarine (Poseidon) 6000.

Haishen 6000 is the first national unmanned search and rescue submarine. Its maximum working depth is 6000 m, the maximum speed is up to 3 knots and the autonomy is 24 hours.

It is equipped with a high resolution system for detecting objects located at high depths. In addition, it has an acoustic detection system for sunken units and side sonar.

UUV has a large range of working depth, autonomy and ability to detect objects. The vehicle can be used to search and rescue crews of sunk units as well as to conduct deep water research.
