According to the report of Chief Krzysztof Kocyba, dozens of small motorboats also appeared around the frigate, whose crews were paying honour to the Polish flag. After mooring, the ship was made available to visitors.

Captain Sadowski led the ship from his departure from Gdynia on 16 April. The change on the bridge marks the start of the next stage of the journey, involving the return of the Atlantic to Europe.

On board, alongside the 33-man crew, are students of the second year of the Navigation Department University of the Sea in Gdynia. Voyage is a training nature and is one of the most important projects of this year's colleges at sea.

Return to Gdynia via European ports

After the visit to Boston, the school frigate will guide in Europe website. On the way to Poland, it is expected to go to ports in Great Britain and Germany.

As planned The Gift of Youth will return to Gdynia on August 24. This year voyage is of particular importance also for anniversary reasons. 44 years have passed since the first height of the white-red flag on this sailboat.
