Gdansk: Eight offers in tender for the expansion of the yacht port in West Górki

Eight offers were received in tender for the expansion of the yacht port in West Górki in Gdańsk, announced before the Gdansk City Development Directorate (DRMG). After the work is finished, it will be able to moor more than 180 units in the port.

The Gdańsk City Development Directorate allocated PLN 19.4 million in its budget to carry out the task.

According to Agnieszka Zakrzack of DRMG, eight contractors reported their willingness to carry out the investment. The cheapest offer is worth over 18.5 million and the most expensive offer is worth less than 27,8 million PLN.

"The tender committee has undertaken to analyse tenders in formal and legal terms. The contractor selected in the proceedings for the implementation of this investment will be 12 months old, counting from the date of signing the contract" - explained Zakrzacka.

The project will create the necessary yacht port infrastructure, consisting of reinforced concrete bridges, wharf and floating breakwater. Water, sewage and rain networks will also be rebuilt. The task also included the reconstruction of the wharf and the pirs. The bridges will be equipped with mooring toads, landing ladders, guards and life wheel racks.

The project will be implemented as part of the strategic programme of the Pomeranian Voivodeship "Development of the offer of water tourism in the area of Żuławska Pętli and Gdańsk Bay". In addition, the construction of the sailing marina will be co-financed by EU funds, as part of Priority Axis 8 Conversion of the Regional Operational Programme of Pomorskie Voivodship for the years 2014-2020.
