Gdynia: The man who threatened to blow up the ferry was detained

As PAP said Press Officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Gdynia Jolanta Grunert, officers received a report of a man who threatened to blow up a ferry on Monday at 7.05 p.m.

‘Officers detained 30 years old Gdynianin. A man entered one of the rooms on the ferry and said he planted explosives on the unit. There is an investigative team, counter-terrorism services and rescuers on site. Activities are ongoing," Grunert added.

Information about the morning action in the port, was first given by RMF FM. According to the radio, the man was carrying a backpack.

The police have not yet told us how a man was detained. Currently checked ferry.
