The Lotos Group expects to start mining from Yme in the 4th quarter of this year.

The Lotos Group confirms that production from the Norwegian Yme deposit in the North Sea will begin as planned in the fourth quarter of 2021, reported the head of the Investor Relations Office Wojciech Zengteler.
"The Yme deposit development work is proceeding as planned, we hope the extraction will occur in the fourth quarter of this year," said Zengteler during the teleconference.
In the first quarter of this year, according to the assumptions, the phase of launching the offshore mining platform on the Yme project was implemented.
The share of the Lotos Group in the production of Yme deposits is expected to reach approximately 5,000 barrels per day.
In the first quarter, the Lotos Group's extraction amounted to 18 578 barrels a day, compared to 23 538 barrels a day in the first quarter of 2020 and 18 167 barrels a day in the previous quarter.
