Dutch Eemslift Hendrik after evacuation of the crew drifts in the North Sea [Video]

A Dutch-flagged mediocre ship Eemslift Hendrik, on board during a strong storm the water enters, drifts off the coast of Norway and threatens to sink. Unit crew has been evacuated.

The trouble of the ship Eemslift Hendrik, who transports the yachts, began on Monday evening – reports the NOS portal. During the storm, the cargo began to move and water entered the deck.

Norwegian Coast Guard evacuated eight crew members. According to NOS, the other four, including the captain, remained on the ship trying to save him. Due to difficult weather conditions around 20 o'clock they also left the unit. The De Telegraaf Journal reports that one of these people is injured.

Currently the ship is on autopilot and is monitored by Norwegian services. Because of the high, 15-meter waves, he's in danger of drowning.

NOS writes about the concerns of the Norwegian Coast Guard as there are drilling platforms in the area, west of the city of Alesund. There is also danger collisions with other units.
