Launch of training year 2022 in the 3rd Fleet Ships

The raising of the state flag and flag on ships in the Port of War in Gdynia began another training year in the 3rd Fleet of Ships.

W The inauguration, which took place on Monday, January 10, was attended by representatives of the units of the Gdynia garrison and sub-chapters from all the units of the 3rd Fleet of Ships, as well as invited guests from among others representatives of the Naval Inspectorate, representatives of the Marine Operations Centre – Marine Component Command, commander of the 8th Coast Defense Fleet, former commander of the Gdynia Fleet and the 9th Coast Defence Fleet, director of the Maritime Office in Gdynia, representatives of the Marine Border Guard Branch, dean of the Navy and vice president of the Management Board of the Pomeranian Union of Former National Army Soldiers. Special guests who gave special lectures were: former COM-DKM commander Viceadm. Dr Stanisław Zarychta and Dr Jerzy Surma from Warsaw School of Economics.

In his speech, the commander of the 3rd Fleet of Ships Rear Admiral Mirosław Jurkowlaniec briefly summed up the previous training year and presented the main areas of training activity of the 3rd Fleet of Ships for 2022. The commander of Gdynia Flotilla also noted that "Last year we will also remember on the pages of history as the one in which the pandemic forced a new unknown enemy, COVID-19. This was a great experience of both operational and logistical, in which 3. The Fleet of Ships played a significant role. (...) In 2022, the most important task put before the largest tactical union of the Navy will be the implementation of national and allied commitments." - stated the commander of the 3rd FO.

At the end of his speech, the commander of the 3rd FO thanked the entire state of personal subordinates 3. FO for a reliable approach to service, performance of tasks and worthy of representing the image of Polish sailor. He also wished health, every success in achieving his goals, perseverance in overcoming difficulties and proverbial naval happiness. During the collection, the 3rd FO commander, presented certificates for the newly appointed in Command 3rd FO and the 3rd FO commemorative badges. He distinguished the Petty Officer and Sailor of the Year 2021 Command 3rd Fleet Ship and Tactical Union. He gave the diplomas and trophies for the activities of honorary blood donation, for taking third place in the competitions of useful-fighting chemical troops DGRSZ, and for taking the first three places in the competition of sports at level 3. FO. During the ceremony on the hands of the commander of Gdynia Flotilla, senior lieutenant of the submarine squadron St. Chor. szt. mar. Andrzej Grażul passed to the Hall of Tradition 3. FO Duffle Coat winter jacket from World War II used on Polish Navy ships.

In the Club of the 3rd Fleet Ships for Personal Status, lectures were given: Dr. hab. Prof. Jerzy Surma from the Warsaw School of Economics (the Threats in Cyberspace), Viceadm. in St. Stanislaw Zarychta's St. (the nuclear weapon of the old threat) and kmdr por. dr. Sławomir Kudela (the Patron of the 3rd Fleet Ships – kmdr Bolesław Romanowski). At the end of the inauguration of the new training year in Gdynia's Flotilla, a sea-related film was released.
