Indian Coast Guard with another OPV

On December 15, a patrol vessel OPV ICGS was incarnate in Goa.Sujeet, second unit of seriesBatch 2.
The new Indian OPV is the 8th unit of its type and simultaneously the second of the 5th ship of the second series. Thanks to the modern design of the ship gym, made with a high use of digital technology and computerization, these patrol boats are the most modern units in the ICG fleet. The ship has an integrated command station system – Integrated Bridge System (IBS), integrated gym control system –Integrated Machinery Control System(IMCS), energy management system – Power Management System (PMS) and firefighting system – High Power External Fire Fighting System.
ICGSSujeet(19) has a displacement of 2450 tonnes, a length of 105 m, a width of 13.6 m., dive 6.2 m., drive consisting of two MTU diesel engines 20V 8000 M71L 9100 kW each, speed 26 knots, range 6000 nautical miles at 12 knots, autonomy 20 days, crew 121 people, armament: 1 CRN 91 caliber 30 mm, 2 wkm 12.7 mm, HAL deck helicopterDhruvand 5 emergency boats. In addition, the ship is equipped with equipment to combat petroleum pollution.
