A fall trip through the English Channel. Special offer of the DFDS

Danish maritime carrier DFDS has prepared a special offer for autumn weekends. By 13 December, we will take a boat trip from English Dover to Dunkirk or Calais for up to £45 both ways.

A weekend trip to France on board a DFDS ship may be a good idea for spending time for Poles living in the UK, but not only.

DFDS has prepared three special offers for tourists. They concern one-, three- and five-day boat trips through the La Manche Canal. We have two optional destinations to choose from: from a port in British Dover we can sail to Dunkirk or Calais.

The Danish shipowner is primarily tempted by prices. A return ticket for a ship between Dover and Calais or Dunkirk will be purchased for up to £45 if you return the same day. The ticket price includes the carriage of a passenger car on board the ship. However, the promotional offer with special prices has its limits: in order to use it, you have to book tickets before 10 December and take the journey by 13 December.

DFDS offers tourists a flexible connection. Ships from Dover – both to Calais and to Dunkirk – depart many times each day. It doesn't take a lot of time to travel by ship through the English Channel. Voyage It takes 90 minutes from Dover to Calais and two hours to Dunkirk.

How do you spend that time? DFDS ships have several proposals for passengers. There are restaurants on ships with a wide selection of dishes. Everyone can choose something for themselves: in the card we will find vegetarian meals, desserts and snacks. With a panoramic window, guests can enjoy a meal by observing the magnificent sea view.

In addition, on two special terraces we will find bars with drinks and snacks. It's a perfect place to drink coffee or tea and spend time talking. There's also something for fast food lovers. Food Express Bar offers customers burgers, hot dogs, baguettes and sweets

There must be no shortage of shops on the DFDS ships. We'll do cheap shopping in them. The products of various brands – such as Hugo Boss, Giorgio Armani, Marc Jacobs, Dior, Clarins – on the ship we will buy at a price of up to 20% lower than in the shopping centre on land.

Ships also offer attractions for the youngest travellers: a fun zone for the youngest and a game room for some older children.
