In summer there will be 11 swimming pools in Kolobrzeg

The local councillors decided that there would be 11 bathing sites in the city this summer. The Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre will be responsible for their organization.
As every year, prior to the holiday season, the local councillors leaned on the draft resolution on the bathing season and the list of bathing sites planned in maritime areas within the city limits.
During the Wednesday remote session of the City Council, it was decided that 11 sea bathing sites would operate in Kolobrzeg: Monument Zabriń, Molo, Baltic, Base, Sunny, Stone Sun, Marina Hotel, Military Beach, TRM Beach, Radzikowo, Podczele. For most of the bathing season will begin on 1 July and last until 31 August. Earlier, as June 27, the Baltic, TRM Beach, Podczele and Baza are expected to start operating. This last swimming pool, as well as Molo and Beach Military summer season will end on August 19.
According to the resolutions, the maximum number of people using bathing sites per day, for which the organisation will be responsible for the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre, may be around 20 thousand.
The obligation to define in the form of a resolution of the bathing season and a list of bathing sites imposes on the City Council a Water Law Act of 20 July 2017.
