Polish Navy Brazil ordered the Sea Ceptor system from MBDA

MBDA won a contract to equip the new Tamandare-type frigate of the Brazilian Navy with a Sea Ceptor missile air defense system.

Sea Ceptor is an intelligent weapons control system that, along with a fully active CAMM (Common Anti-air Modular Missile) missile, provides comprehensive self-defense and local air defense. It will enable Brazilian Tamandare class frigates to protect their own, associated units and permanent infrastructure against a high spectrum of threats at sea or in ports and in the most demanding operational scenarios.

Sea Ceptor is used on frigates Type 23 of the British Navy; it was also selected as the weaponry of the new frigate Type 26 and Type 31. On the growing list of foreign users Sea Ceptor Brazil joins Chile, New Zealand and Canada. The CAMM missile was also delivered to the British Land Forces as a ground defense weapon.
