Media: Russia will send the BMP-3F infantry wagons to Kaliningrad

Marine troops in the Kaliningrad region will be equipped with combat infantry wagons BMP-3F – the newspaper "Izwiestija" stated on Tuesday. As he estimates, this equipment will significantly strengthen the defence of the Russian exclave on the Baltic.
citing a source in the Russian Ministry of Defence, the newspaper reports that the BMP-3F wagons will go to the 336th independent Baltic Fleet Marine Brigade, deployed in the Baltic Sea in 2021.
The arming of these vehicles "allows serious damage to the opposing sea forces and even to flooding shipThese landings" - noted the journal.
BMP-3F is a modification of the BMP-3 – the state-of-the-art Russian combat infantry car – developed specifically for the Navy. This vehicle is more fluid and can swim for seven hours. Its maximum speed on water is 10 km/h and on land is 70 km/h. Firepower is comparable to light tanks.
As the military expert Dmitry Boltienkov said to the "Iswiestijs", with the strengthening of the Kaliningrad circuit defence system in recent years, the forces deployed there "will be able to effectively resist possible aggression."
