IAS Gryfia announces the eligibility procedure for the position of President and Member of the Management Board

The Supervisory Board of the Maritime Refurbishment Shipyard of Gryfia in Szczecin announced the opening of a qualifying procedure for the position of President of the Management Board and Member of the Management Board for Commercial Affairs. The deadline for receiving written applications for candidates is 5 September and the opening of applications will take place on 12 September 2019.

Currently, the board of the Gryfia shipyard consists of president Artur Trzebakowski and board member Jarosław Borek.

The Marine Restoration Shipyard Gryfia was created by the merger of two West Pomeranian plants in Szczecin and Świnoujście, which have been operating as one company since September 2013.

The yard offers services in the field of renovation, reconstruction and construction of new units. Performs emergency repairs and class inspections of ships. For over 15 years it has also been a manufacturer of offshore steel structures.

The location of both plants near the border with Germany provides easy transport of equipment and spare parts from suppliers from Western Europe and fast access to specialist services. For the production of steel structures, convenient transport of finished modules to the main markets in Western Europe.

IAS Gryfia has a total of six floating docks in Szczecin and Świnoujście, including one of the newest and largest in Poland – dock No. 5 with a load capacity of 17,000 tons, which allows docking of ships up to 40,000 DWT. In addition, repairs of smaller ships are performed on three pontoons.
