The Spanish shipbuilding group Navantia presented its proposal in Warsaw as part of the MEASHER programme, offering Poland modern frigates F-100 and comprehensive technology transfer, which is intended to strengthen the sovereign maritime potential of the country.

The Spanish shipyard Navantia made a proposal in Warsaw to build a sovereign sea capacity in Poland. The offer concerns three frigates, which will be built by the Consortium PGZ-MIER-Gdynia, using the advanced F-100 model, already proven in the service of the Navy of Spain, Norway and Australia.

President of Navantii, Ricardo Dominguez, during the briefing in Warsaw, indicated that the company is fully involved in the transfer Poland not only technology, but also necessary skills to develop their marine potential independently.

Navantii's proposal, based on the F-100 frigate, is a response to all requirements of the Armed Forces Inspectorate. The last ship of this class remained delivered in 2020 to Australia, being a developed version of a highly flexible frigate equipped with the latest technologies.

Navantia offers a comprehensive transfer of technology and knowledge, based on a proven model that was developed in cooperation with Australia and Turkey. Numerous courses and support from the Navantii resident team are planned to support PGZ and Polish industry in key phases of ship design and construction.

Navantia stresses her commitment in the development of local industry and ensures that delivery of solutions on time and support of the Polish industrial ecosystem are priorities of the company.

Navantia therefore offers Poland not only modern frigates, but above all the construction of a sovereign maritime potential, which is crucial for the national security of the country.
