Dangerous incident at the Świnouian port waterway track

On 1 June, a dangerous situation occurred on the Świnouian port. Officers of the Pomeranian Border Guard Squadron immediately took appropriate action, which led to the effective detention of the drunken motorboat pilot. This incident posed a real threat to the safety of shipping.

While patrolling the port waters of Świnoujście using a SG-112 unit, Border Guard officers spotted a motorboat making suspicious maneuvers on the water track. Due to significant traffic difficulties, the pilot was ordered to enter the northern swimming pool for inspection. Officers conducted a sobriety test on a man who showed he had 1.8 blood alcohol.

Upon detention, the Border Guard called the police to take over the case and carried out the necessary procedural documentation. The 60-year-old was handed over to the Municipal Police Headquarters in Świnoujście, which will be responsible for further proceedings in this case.

Thanks to these actions, a dangerous incident on the Świnouian port waterway track has been thwarted, which has contributed to increasing the level of safety in this location.
