Failed attempt to fire off the frigate of the Marshal of the Szaposznik missile Calibr-NK [Video]

Marshal Szaposhnikov, a modernized frigate of the Russian naval project 1155M, attempted to launch a test version of the Calibr maneuvering missile, but almost immediately after launch the missile entered an uncontrolled flight and crashed near the ship.
As a result of this incident, the ship and its crew themselves did not suffer any damage.
Fregata "Marszałek Szaposhnikow" underwent renovation and modernization at the Dalzavod Ship Repair Centre in Vladivostok, Russia, in the Far East. During the modernization of the submarine, the project 1155 Marshal Szaposhnikow was transformed into a multi-purpose frigate capable of combating ground, sea and underwater targets.
Russian media reported that the frigate received the latest Kalibr-NK and Uranus missile systems and the most advanced artillery weapons. Her firepower increased several times compared to her original destiny. Currently on the ship are two universal ship launchers for 16 Kalibr-NK and Onix missiles, and ultimately also for the Tsirkon hypersonic missile.
The Russian Ministry does not comment on the incident. According to Russian analysts, a possible missile strike on the ship could have devastating effects.
