The new unit will power the Polferries fleet

Polferries signed a charter agreement for a completely new ferry. The ro-pax unit is built in one of the Italian shipyards. The ship will be chartered for 10 years, with the option of first purchase after 6 years.

Ferry will have a length of 216 m, a width of 28 me and a load line of about 3000 m. It will also accommodate 920 passengers in 230 cabins and numerous aircraft seats. The ship will be prepared to install the LNG system, meeting any current international ecological requirements.

Ferry will be equipped with two motors, each with a power of 11580KW and two jet rudders, each with a power of 1800KW. During operation, it will reach 23 knots. The shipowner plans to include it in regular shipping on the Świnoujście-Ystad line at the turn of 2024 and 2025. The investment was supported by the State Treasury with PLN 140 million.

Polferries invites you on autumn cruises to Scandinavia

After successful cruises organized in spring, Polferries invites you to visit Scandinavia in autumn. Copenhagen, Stockholm and Bornholm are directions proposed by the Polish shipowner. In early September, Świnoujście will launch in voyage Tour on Bornholm. On the other hand, trips to the Swedish capital start from Gdańsk 1, 7 and 15 October 2022. Every trip to Stockholm begins 18 hours of night voyage The Nova Star ferry. The trip enjoyed live music at Piano Bar and playing with DJ in the disco on board the ferry.
