POLSCA Baltic Ferries opens an additional connection to Scandinavia

POLSCA Baltic Ferries launches a new ferry connection between Gdańsk and Karlshamn. The route is intended to provide passengers, carriers and business customers with convenient access to southern Sweden, as well as further directions in Denmark and Norway.

New ferry connection from Gdańsk to Sweden

The new route Gdańsk-Karlshamn is to strengthen the network of ferry connections between Poland and Scandinavia. Ferry crossing is expected to last about 13 hours, which allows you to board in Gdańsk in the evening and the following morning start further journey around southern Sweden.

Connection prepared for passengers travelling by car, families, cyclists, carriers and business customers. In practice, this means that the new route is to combine the tourist function with regular freight service by sea.

Karlshamn as a gateway to Sweden, Denmark and Norway

Karlshamn can be more than just a destination port for passengers. Located in southern Sweden, in the Blekinge region, it gives convenient access to further routes in Scandinavia. From this place you can reach Malmö, Copenhagen, Gothenburg or Oslo in a few hours, which strengthens the importance of the Gdańsk-Karlshamn merger for both tourism and business trips.

Thanks to this, Gdańsk-Karlshamn can be an attractive alternative for tourists planning holiday in Sweden as well as for business customers and transport companies serving Scandinavian destinations.

Ferries Scatter and Copernicus on the Gdańsk-Karlshamn route

The connection will be operated by two fleet ferries Unity Line and EuroAfrica. The route will be m/f Scatter, ferry passenger-loading area offering cabins, catering and rest area. The second ferry will be m/f Copernicus, supporting regular freight and passenger traffic.
