Recent General and Admiral Advances in the Armed Forces of Poland

14 August, on the eve of the Polish Army, General and Admiral promotions will become a major event in the Armed Forces of Poland. This is a moment of special importance for each country, and in Poland these ceremonies have a unique dimension.

The Shipyard portal, which constantly supports and follows the progress of the Polish Navy, considers this moment to be extremely important. The activities of the shipyard and the Navy are inseparably interconnected, hence such a moment is always important to us.

President Andrzej Duda, using the powers conferred on him by the Constitution, will give these important promotions. Officers who receive them play key roles in defending our country – from national security to territorial defence to cyberspace. It is particularly rewarding that officers associated with the Navy will be among the promoted.

Commanders Gardener and Sikora, who will be promoted to Rear Admiral, are key figures in commanding our fleets. Their promotions are evidence of appreciation for professionalism and contribution to the development and modernisation of the Polish war fleet.

Poland takes care of its defence potential by investing in the development of the command staff and strengthening the various types of armed forces. The role of our shipyards in delivering modern equipment for the Navy is unsurpassable.
