New Costa Cruises flagship for nearly a billion dollars launched in Finland

Costa Smeralda will be owned by Helios cruise ships. The ship is scheduled to launch regular cruises even in 2019 (the delivery of the Costa Cruises ship is scheduled for October), and its sister unit from the same yard will enter into operation two years later.

According to cruisemapper.com, the cost of construction and equipment of the new flagship Costa Cruises is $950 million (€790 million).
