ORP General Tadeusz Kościuszko at PGZ War Shipyard

Today, at the War Shipyard, an operation was carried out docking of rocket frigate type Oliver Hazard Perry – ORP General Tadeusz Kościuszko
Due to the complex shape of the underwater part of the hull and its equipment, the docking operation is one of the most difficult dockings carried out for Polish Navy ships. For this purpose, a special substructure was used, constructed only under the units of ORP K. Pulaski and ORP T. Kościuszko.
Ship repair will be carried out by a consortium of Polish Armed Forces Group S.A. and PGZ Stocznia Wojenna Sp. z o.o. The main activities will be hull works, works in the field of electronics and IT, communications, missile-artillery, BCI and submarine weapons.
A sister ship in the Polish Navy is the ORP "General Kazimierz Pulaski". These are multitasking ships. They can carry out almost all combat tasks, i.e. search and combat of submarines, combat of submarines, ships and their teams, and anti-aircraft defense. The units are prepared to conduct emergency response operations, prevent local conflicts and counter terrorist attacks.
