Ship parade in Gdynia. 20 ships passed along the Tri-City

On Tuesday afternoon in the waters of the Gulf of Gdańsk, a general rehearsal was held before the parade of ships on the occasion of the Polish Army. Along the coast the Tri-City passed in the formation of 20 ships and auxiliary units of the Polish Navy and the Navy of Sweden and Lithuania.

Ships passed in formation along the tri-urban coast, from the Gdańsk-Brzeźna region through Sopot and Gdynia-Orłowo towards Gdynia. The entire column was about five kilometres long, and the aircraft involved in the preparations for Saturday celebrations.

The group included, among others, the ORP Cadmium. Xavery Czernicki, ORP Lublin, ORP Cormoran, ORP Sand, ORP Lech, ORP Arctowski and ORP Hevilius. Swedish HSwMS also participated in the sample Skaftö and Lithuanian LNS Skalvis.

Around 4 p.m. ORP Cashew, first of the ships entering the port, passed through the south entrance in Gdynia. The passage of the entire column took about an hour.

Leading frigate of the ORP General T. Kościuszko did not enter the port through the south entrance and remained in the waters Gulf of Gdańsk.

Tuesday's passage was a rehearsal before Saturday. circle parade t ed, scheduled for August 15. At the Polish Army Day, the ships will again pass along the tricity coast.
