PERN: Naftoport overcharged nearly 18 million tonnes of oil and fuel in 2021

The Naftoport of the PERN Group overcharged nearly 18 million tonnes of oil and fuel in 2021, i.e. by more than 6% more than in record-breaking 2019. Currently, almost 2/3 of the supplies of raw material to Poland are carried out by sea, mainly from non-eastern directions.
"PERN attaches great importance to the development of infrastructure located on the Baltic. Thanks to it, our customers can effectively diversify their oil supply so that they receive the most efficient blends and produce the best quality fuel and petrochemical products," said President PERN Igor Vasilewski, quoted in the Communication.
"We served nearly 270 tankers last year. To Naftoport may today be hauled by units of more than 300 lengths and 15 metres submerged," added Naftoport president Andrzej Brzózka.
The potential of the company allowsCargo more than 36 million tonnes of oil and 4 million tonnes of oil products per year, ensuring that the needs of refineries connected to the PERN pipeline system can be fully covered. Oil and petrol, aviation fuel, diesel, fuel oil, condensates and components are transhipped at the maritime terminal.
PERN is a national oil logistics leader and leading operator in oil and liquid fuel storage and pipeline oil and fuel transport.
