PGE Baltica with new technical advisor for offshore projects

PGE Baltica has established cooperation with Ramboll Polska, which will provide comprehensive technical advisory services for both offshore and land wind farms implemented under the PGE Capital Group programme.
Technical consultancy services the maritime area and the land-based phase of the preparation and implementation of offshore wind farm projects in the Baltic Sea are an important element throughout the investment process due to the complexity of the projects and the dynamically changing offshore wind energy market. The scope of the work includes advisory services for three phases of project development, construction and operation. The contract was signed for a period of 4 years.
Cooperation with the leading advisor of offshore industry, which undoubtedly is the company Ramboll aims at technical support for all PGE projects.
The Offshore PGE Group programme involves the construction by 2030 of the Baltic Sea Wind Farm, implemented in two stages – Baltica 2 and Baltica 3, with a total capacity of up to 2.5 GW. These projects are implemented jointly with Ørsted. Then after 2030 to the Group portfolio join Baltica 1 Wind Power Plant with a power of about 0.9 GW. The PGE Group will be able to build further wind farms up to 2040 thanks to the acquisition of new areas for Baltic development. Together with current projects, this will allow it to achieve over 7 GW of offshore generation capacity.
