PGNiG will bring significantly over 4 billion m3 of LNG after regasification this year

"The gas flows to Europe not only by pipelines, but also by sea. Last year the amount of gas after regasification that reached Poland was 3.4 billion m3. We see in recent years that this quantity is growing by about a quarter. This year we will be close to using the full regasification capacity of the terminal, i.e. 5 billion m3. This year we will definitely exceed 4 billion m3" - said Kwiecinski at the GazTerm conference.

He stressed that once the first stage of expansion was completed in 2022, the regasification power of the Świnouskie terminal would increase to 6.2 billion m3 and then to 8.3 billion m3 in 2024. In the long term, the capacity of the floating FSRU terminal in the Gulf of Gdańsk (about 4 billion m3) will also be available.

‘PGNIG is absolutely prepared for this. In long-term agreements we have the possibility to bring 9 billion m3 of gas from the United States, 3 billion m3 of gas from the Persian Gulf," added the president.
