PGNiG: The volume of gas sales was estimated at 5.38 billion m3 in Q3.

The estimated volume of sales of natural gas of the Polish Oil and Gas Mining Group amounted to 22.28 billion m3 in I-III quarter 2020, compared to 21.47 billion m3 recorded a year earlier, stated PGNiG. In Q3 alone, sales amounted to estimated 5.38 billion m3 compared to 5.52 billion m3 a year earlier.
The extraction of natural gas by the group amounted to 3.3 billion m3 in I-III quarter (1.11 billion m3 in Q3 alone) compared to 3.32 billion m3 a year earlier, according to preliminary estimates, the company informed.
The volume of natural gas imports to Poland amounted to 11.17 billion m3 (3.7 billion m3 in Q3 alone) in the I-III quarter, compared to 10.89 billion m3 a year earlier. From the eastern direction, imports amounted to 6.63 m3 compared to 6.29 m3 a year earlier, also given.
The volume of gas distribution by the Polish gas company in natural units amounted to 8.03 billion m3 in I-III sq. against 8.24 billion m3 a year earlier. In Q3 alone, this volume amounted to 1.84 billion m3 compared to 1.92 billion m3 a year earlier.
The volume of oil production in the I-III quarter amounted to 962.6 thousand tonnes compared to 888.7 thousand tonnes a year earlier. In turn, sales volume of 970.8 thousand tonnes versus 324.4 thousand tonnes a year earlier.
The volume of heat sales was 25.92 PJ during this period, compared to 26.28 PJ during the comparative period.
"As of 30 September 2020, PGNiG's gas stocks (which include the mandatory supply under the responsibility of the Minister responsible for energy) amounted to approximately 4 billion m3 of gas per high-methane gas with a combustion temperature of 39.5 mJ/m3. This state of stock includes high-methane gas, nitrogenated stored in Poland and abroad and LNG gas in terminals. Data do not cover the volume of natural gas under the responsibility of the Transmission System Operator of the Gas-System" - the communication also states.
The final data will be presented on 19 November during the publication of the interim report.
