Over four tons of explosive substance in Beirut port

The Lebanese army found 4.35 tons of ammonium nitrate near the entrance to the port of Beirut," NNA state agency reported on Thursday. On 4 August there was a massive explosion in the port of Beirut caused by this highly explosive substance.
In a statement, the army reported that it had taken control of the situation, and on Thursday, military engineers took care of it.
On 4 August 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate (ammonium salt) exploded in the port. As a result of the explosion, 190 people were killed at the scene or killed as a result of injuries and 300,000 were homeless.
Meanwhile, rescue services in Beirut reported life signs under the rubble of a building that was destroyed on 4 August. "(Respiration and heart rate signs) along with the temperature sensor indications mean that it is possible that (under the rubble) there is someone alive," quoted Reuter's agency the words of one of the rescuers, Eddy Bitar.
Previously, state media reported that a rescue team with a rescue dog detected movement under a collapsed building in the Gemmayze district, one of the most damaged by the explosion.
