The search continues for a man in Puck Bay

In Puck Bay there is a search action after a water scooter crash. One of the two men was found, the other still seeking service.

According to the report of the found man, the scooter crash occurred on September 1, around 1:00 p.m. Around 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., men split up. One remained at the drifting scooter, the other was to sail towards the Shield.

Ships and helicopters of the Gdynia Naval Aviation Brigade (BLMW) were involved in the search and rescue operation. Actions were carried out on Bay of Pucked and along the shoreline, covering further designated search sectors.

Based on the information provided by the found man, the area of activity has been changed. Today (2 September) at 9:52 p.m. to the action was once again picked up Helicopter BLMW. Further submarines have also been sent to search, and crews are gradually changed to ensure continuity of operations.

The search for another man continues. Activities are carried out from water, air and land.
