Fire tanker GT Unity a rescue action

On August 8, a dramatic rescue took place off the coast of Vietnam. Morning GT Unity, flying the flag of Vietnam, gave the MayDAY signal after the fire was detected in the gym's electrical installation room. The ship was located approximately 104 nautical miles south-southeast of the island of Côn Đảo and 190 SS miles from Cape Vũng Tàu, in the Ho Chi Minh City area.
