The Prime Minister of Thuringia Bodo Ramelow advocates the taking of boats from Russian oligarchs and using them in rescue operations at sea. "Yes, I like to say it: I support confiscating luxury yachts from oligarchs and handing them over to Sea-Watch," he said in an interview with the weekly portal "Zeit".

"Sea racing with oligarch boats!", stressed Prime Minister of Thuringia.

According to Ramelov, Vladimir Putin can only be dissuaded from the war in Ukraine by "turning the cock with money". Therefore, as he said, "he advocates the complete withdrawal of all assets of those who support the Putin system".
