President of PERN with plans to build a chemical terminal

President of PERN, Mirosław Skowron, announces plans to build a new chemical terminal in the vicinity of Naftoport.
During the EuroPower conference held on 18 and 19 April 2024 at The Westin Warsaw Hotel, Mirosław Skowron announced an initiative to build a chemical terminal. The location planned for this ambitious project is an area in the immediate vicinity of Naftoport, which will strategically strengthen Poland's position in the European energy network.
In addition, President PERN stressed that it would be crucial to combine the planned terminal with the European pipeline system. Such synergies will not only increase Poland's energy security, but will also allow for more effective international cooperation in the field of chemical trade.
President Skowron pointed out that the new infrastructure is also to guarantee a higher standard of safety in transport and storage of chemical products. The terminal will not only be a "window to the world" for Polish chemistry, but also an important point on the map of the European chemical industry.

The plan to build a chemical terminal by PERN near Naftoport is a strategic initiative that can significantly contribute to Poland's economic growth. The precise roles and responsibilities of individual companies of the State Treasury are key to the success of this project, which will certainly strengthen Poland's position as an important player in the European energy sector.
Key Changes in the Management Board and the Supervisory Board of PERN
Let us remind you that at the beginning of April there were significant staff changes. In accordance with the Resolution of the General Meeting, from 1 April this year, the Supervisory Board of PERN S.A. has been functioning in new composition:

- Adam Piotrowski – Chairman of the Supervisory Board,
- Marek Kosicki – Secretary of the Supervisory Board,
- Michael Drzazga,
- Marcin Kacprzak,
- Monika Namyslowska, Paweł Białek,
- Arthur Przewrocki – Members of the Supervisory Board.
As part of the board, which also exchanged, Marcin Giemza joined the team as a new Vice President of the Management Board from 8 April 2024. The Management Board of the new term of office shall present the following:
- Mirosław Skowron – President of the Management Board,
- Marcin Giemza – Vice President of the Management Board,
- Zdzisław Koper Vice President of the Board.
