At first there was an invitation, sent to the PGZ War Shipyard. The PGZ-MIEKNIK consortium responsible for the project prepared a negotiating form, which included, among others, a number of platform proposals for SZ RP.

The next step was to negotiate with both industry and contracting partners. The result of this work was the signing of the agreement on 27 July, which formally introduced the programme "SIGNER" into the implementation phase.

Work is currently underway on the preparation of concept projects, both for ship platforms and the Integrated Combat System. At the same time PGZ SA is moving forward with the preparation of our Consortium for the construction of these units in Poland.

In two years the next stage will begin – the construction of a prototype of the frigate "MIEKNIK" in Polish shipyards. The competences acquired during the work will allow us, among others, to ensure the efficiency of these units in their life cycle on the Polish coast.

The "SIGNER" will not be an only child – the remaining ships of the series will join it at the beginning of the next decade of the 21st century with combat measures. Three multi-purpose frigates will honorably represent the Polish flag on the seas and oceans.
