Russian troops use phosphor bombs in Mariupol

Russian troops began to use phosphorus bombs in the attacks on Mariupol, said deputy commander of the defending city of Azow Swiatosław Palamar. "I don't know what else they can come up with," added Palamar reminding us that the Russians are already using aviation, tanks and ground and ship artillery.

"We must remember that, in addition to all other disasters, there are still living people trapped under the rubble in Mariupol. They have no access to water, food, light, any communication. We need special equipment – using it, we could get these people out of ruins. Help is needed to save those who can still be saved. (...) I am addressing the international community and Ukrainian politicians on this issue," said Palamar, quoted by UNIAN.

Commander Azova confirmed reports of Russian troops using mobile crematoria to incinerate civilians and thus conceal war crimes in Mariupolu. "On the first opportunity, we will record this and post appropriate video material. We will show the whole world how Russians cover their tracks," declared Palamar.

There is a humanitarian disaster in the besieged by Russian troops and constantly sharp Mariupolu. According to Ukrainian human rights spokeswoman Ludmyła Denisowa, only during the last 24 hours the invaders conducted 118 air strikes on Mariupol. According to various estimates, 120-160 thousand inhabitants may still be present in the city on the Azov Sea.
