A U.S. Navy helicopter crashed.

The U.S. Navy helicopter crashed on Tuesday in the ocean near southern California on a routine flight from the aircraft carrier- informed the Navy Pacific Fleet.
Search and rescue action after the MH-60S helicopter crash began on Tuesday around 4:30 p.m. , 60 nautical miles from San Diego – tweeted the Navy Pacific Fleet.
According to the Navy, the crash occurred when the aircraft "executed routine air operations" and took off from the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln.
"The search and rescue operation is carried out with the participation of many air and water forces of the Coast Guard and the Navy," wrote the tweet.
MH-60S is a versatile helicopter that usually has a crew of four and is used in missions involving combat support, humanitarian assistance in the event of disasters and search and rescue operations.
