Saab will set up a service centre in Poland for RBS15

On Tuesday, Saab and Mesko signed a cooperation agreement on the possibility of establishing a service centre for RBS15 anti-ship missiles in Poland.

The aim of the agreement is to determine the conditions for cooperation in establishing the RBS15 anti-ship missile service centre in Poland. This will enable Polish industry to provide direct support for the Polish Navy.

The agreement sets out specific areas of cooperation, including training for operators and technical personnel, technical and maintenance support for missiles and on-board systems. The agreement includes the possibility of establishing a Centre for Recertification, Service and Repair RBS15 in Poland.

Saab, as a supplier of RBS15 for Orkan rocket ships, has been supporting Poland's security for many years. We are proud that our system has been appreciated by the user and selected for new frigates of the type Swordfish. Given the current security situation in Europe, this significant strengthening of the capabilities of the Navy makes the creation of a local RBS15 support centre even more important.
