Saab will equip new patrol ships of the Navy of Bulgaria

Saab signed with the German shipbuilding company Lürssen to supply and integrate the combat system into the new multi-purpose modular patrol vessels (MMPV) of the Bulgarian Navy.

Lürssen Shipyard is the main Contract contractor for the Ministry of Defence of Bulgaria, under which it will build two new patrol vessels in the Bulgarian shipyard MTG Dolphin JSC. Units are to be delivered to the final customer between 2025 and 2026.

Saab will carry out contract work in its plants in Sweden, Denmark, Australia and South Africa.
