Russian forces try to deprive Ukraine of access to the sea

Russian forces continue the offensive, focusing on efforts to deprive Ukraine of access to the sea – he assessed the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a release issued on Sunday.
"The occupiers focus on intensive activities in southern circuits to deprive Ukraine of access to the Black Sea and the Azov Sea" – says the summary of the military situation in Ukraine by noon.
According to the staff, the Russian troops attempt to surround Kiev, Kharkiv, Chernihov and Nicholas, as well as create a land corridor between the Lugansk and Donetsk circuits and occupied Crimea.
The staff estimates that Russian forces no longer have reserves and are preparing to move additional units from the East, Central and West Military District.
On the other hand, the Armed Forces of Ukraine – according to the Staff Communication – continue to defend in the direction of Donetsk, units mechanized with Kharkov's and Ochtyrk's weapons, the defence of Chernihov is also ongoing. In other areas, the stabilisation operation continues and territorial defence tasks are carried out – added.
Ukrainian aviation, on the other hand, focuses on the protection of key buildings and troop groups.
