A few days ago, the third megayacht was launched on the shipyard ramp. In August 2018, the production of cruisers built in cooperation with Western European contractor began. In the coming months the production of a series of coasters begins, negotiations on the construction of tankers are finalised. The working time of the yard and its production capacity are increasingly valuable, and defining the portfolio of contracts served requires rational choices.

Szczecińska Shipyard is a compact shipyard with a full brook-storage technological chain with specialized facilities for ship production. It has the ability to complete a complete ship – from project preparation to launching and equipment under the flag. The shipyard has organized a shipyard hub – an environment where maritime operators focus around it as a leader. Self-contracting with 60 industry entities. Thanks to such a partnership and economically efficient formula, the yard knows what resources it has and can plan joint actions.
The business model and rational development have real effects. The company's own proprietary financing programme is being implemented, under which the yard operates only on its own resources. It can boast a stable financial situation, which has been realised for 2.5 years with a profit that is systematically involved in infrastructure development and investment. In view of the economic policy pursued, the yard is a reliable partner for domestic and foreign contractors. It is also the only such plant in Europe that has no burden on the company's assets, loans, etc. The company owns land and technological infrastructure.

A well-thought-out concept and consistency in the implementation of the investment are crucial. Since the restoration of the yard's activity in the current formula in 2016, the value of the infrastructure investments launched has been PLN 30 million. The horizons of the future are determined by the design of the autonomous vessel notified in the competition of the National Centre for Research and Development. New ventures follow. Every ship is a new quality. The shipyard initiates innovative solutions and new quality for its ships, because they will not be swimming in the seas until tomorrow, next year, in two years.
Such leaders include the future of the Polish shipbuilding sector and the entire industry. Thanks to the Szczecin shipyard, it is such an important place on the economic map of the country.
