According to the information provided on the website of Szczecińska Shipyard, the Supervisory Board is looking for candidates for the position of President and Vice President of the Management Board of the Company. We invite those interested to read the course of the article.

Annex 1 to the Resolution of the Supervisory Board No 02/05/2019 of 28 May 2019.

Supervisory Board of SSN Sp. z o.o. based in Szczecin announce the opening of a qualifying procedure for a member of the Management Board.

  1. The candidate for the position of Member of the Management Board of SSN Sp. z o.o. must meet together the following conditions:
  2. (a) have a higher education or higher education received abroad recognised in the Republic of Poland, on the basis of separate provisions,
  3. (b) have a minimum of five years of employment on the basis of a contract of employment, appointment, appointment, cooperative employment contract, or the provision of services on the basis of another contract or self-employed establishment,
  4. (c) have at least 3 years of experience in managerial or self-employed positions,
  5. (d) comply with other requirements laid down by law, including without prejudice to restrictions or prohibitions on taking up a seat as a member of the board of directors in commercial companies,
  6. (e) exercise full public rights and have full legal capacity,
  7. (f) non-criminality, absence of criminal or criminal-tax proceedings initiated and pending.
  8. A candidate may not be a person who fulfils at least one of the following conditions:
  9. (a) as a social associate or as a member of a parliamentary, senatorial, parliamentary-senatorial office or as an agent of a Member of the European Parliament on the basis of a contract of employment or as an employee on the basis of a contract of an order or other contract of a similar nature,
  10. (b) be part of the body of the political party representing the political party outside and entitled to make commitments,
  11. (c) is employed by a political party on the basis of an employment contract or provides work on the basis of an order contract or other contract of a similar nature,
  12. (d) performs its function of choice in the company's union or company's union organisation of the capital group,
  13. (e) the social or economic activity of the candidate gives rise to a conflict of interest in the Company's activities.
  14. In order to confirm compliance with the requirements referred to in point 1, the applicant shall submit in the notification:
  15. (a) evidence of having a higher education in accordance with point 1(a);
  16. (b) documents at least 5 years of employment, including work certificate or employment certificate, business certificate or NRS copies or other evidence of traineeship in accordance with point 1(b);
  17. (c) documents supporting at least three years of experience in managerial or self-employed positions or as a result of self-employed activities, including work certificates or certificates
    employment, business certificate or write-downs
    with the KRS or other supporting documents required to work experience in accordance
    point 1(c);
  18. (d) a declaration by the candidate that the restrictions and prohibitions laid down in the law are not restricted and that he is a member of the board of directors in commercial companies, including without prejudice to restrictions or prohibitions on the appointment of a member of the board of directors in commercial companies in accordance with point 1(d);
  19. (e) a declaration by the candidate of the exercise of full public rights and full legal capacity in accordance with point 1(e);
  20. (f) the current (not more than 30 days) certificate of non-criminality (in the case of a certificate issued via the e-KRK system, an electronic version on a CD or DVD) and the candidate's declaration of the absence of criminal or criminal-tax proceedings initiated and pending against the candidate in accordance with point 1(f).
  21. In order to confirm compliance with the requirements referred to in point 2, the candidate shall make a declaration in the application of the candidate that none of the circumstances mentioned in point 2 apply to him.
  22. The declarations of the candidate referred to in point 3 and point 4 shall be made in the original or in a copy certified for compliance with the original by the candidate.
    – in such a case, a candidate who meets the formal requirements may be asked
    to present the originals of these documents during the interview.
  23. Notwithstanding the statements and documents referred to in points 3 to 5, the applicant shall submit in the notification:
  24. (a) a letter of motivation (in the original), containing a self-signed declaration of consent to the processing of personal data for the purposes of the qualifying procedure, together with an indication of the address, telephone number and e-mail address for the purposes of the qualifying procedure;
  25. (b) a professional CV describing the applicant's past experience and achievements in professional work.
  26. The deadline for receipt of written applications for candidates shall expire on 17 June
    2019 at 3 p.m.

    with the entry ‘Qualification procedure for the position of Member of the Management Board. Do not open" should be sent by post or submitted to the Company Secretariat (from 7.00 to 15.00). Decides the date of receipt to the Company's secretariat.
  27. An additional asset of the candidate will be: fluent knowledge of English.
  28. The notification will open by 19 June 2019.
  29. Formal and substantive evaluations of the notifications sent Team to open and verify applications in the qualifying procedure for the position of President
    and Member of the Management Board of SSN appointed by a resolution of the Council.
  30. Notifications of candidates not meeting the requirements set out in the notice and submitted after the deadline set for their adoption shall not be subject to consideration. Candidates will not participate in further qualifying proceedings.
  31. Candidates who meet the formal and substantive requirements will be invited to interview. Job interviews with candidates will be conducted
    on 24 June 2019, at the registered office of the Company. Each candidate will be informed
    on June 19, 2019 by telephone or e-mail
    the time and place of the interview. By decision of the Supervisory Board, the period referred to in the preceding sentence may be amended. Failure to apply for an interview will be considered a candidate's resignation
    in the selection procedure. Candidates invited to the interview, before entering the interview, will be asked to present an identity document to the Supervisory Board to confirm the identity of the person joining the interview.
  32. Scope of issues to be discussed with each
    the candidates shall include in particular:
  33. (a) knowledge of the activities of the company and the sector in which that company operates;
  34. (b) knowledge of management and management of staff teams;
  35. (c) knowledge of the rules of operation of commercial companies, remuneration rules in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 9 June 2016 on the rules governing the remuneration of persons managing certain companies (Journal of Laws 2017 item 2190 as amended), knowledge of the principles of ownership supervision and capital groups;
  36. (d) the experience necessary for the performance of the functions of a member of the management board in the company.
  37. In case of participation in the qualifying procedure of the current Member of the Management Board of the Company, the Supervisory Board will evaluate the candidate's activities for the entire period of his office.
  38. The Supervisory Board reserves the possibility to address the Board of Companies with the participation of the State Treasury and state legal persons referred to in Article 24 of the Act
    of 16 December 2016 on State Property Management Principles (OJ 2018,
    item 1182 as amended), to obtain an opinion on the Candidate.
  39. The Supervisory Board shall inform the candidates participating in the qualifying procedure in writing, by telephone or electronically to the address given.
  40. The qualifying procedure may be terminated without the appointment of a candidate, at any time, without giving reasons.
  41. The company shall not reimburse candidates for the costs incurred in connection with the participation
    in the selection procedure.
  42. After completion of the selection procedure, candidates who have not been selected
    they may receive the application within the time limit following the procedure.
    up to 2 months after the results of the qualifying procedure have been announced. Applications which are not received within the above mentioned period will be destroyed.

  7. request access to, correct, restrict or delete the content of their personal data, the right to transfer data, the right to object,
  8. filing a complaint with the supervisory authority — President of the Office for Personal Data Protection,
  9. withdrawal of consent at any time without affecting the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.
