A chance for the Polish Navy?

According to unofficial information of the Shipyard Portal, on Monday, the Deputy Head of the National Security Bureau Dariusz Gwizdała will become a member of the Board of PGZ SA.

For five years of work In the presidential center of Gwizdała, he became known as a strong supporter of the modernization of the Navy. In BBN he chaired the team developing the Strategic Maritime Security Concept of the Polish Republic, supported the acquisition of Adelaide frigates for the Polish fleet, advocated an increase in funding for the Navy, was a regular participant in conferences, seminars and other discussions on maritime issues. It is worth quoting what he said in February of this year at the conclusion of the First Maritime Security Congress, that "it is time to implement concrete actions in the process of restoring the role of the Polish Navy."

Will the Polish Armed Forces Group – including the War Shipyard – Gwizdała become a spokesman for maritime affairs? Will it implement concrete solutions to restore the potential of the Polish Maritime Force? If so, the Shipyard Portal will be pleased to support this new member of the PGZ board.

Dariusz Gwizdała was born in 1971 in Kraków. From 1998 to 2005, he worked at the Chancellery of the President of the Council of Ministers and at the Warsaw Capital City Office. From 2005 to 2006, he was an advisor to the Minister of the Interior and Administration. In 2006, he became the Director of the Cabinet of the Head of the National Security Office and in 2007 he became the Director of the Political Cabinet of the Minister of Interior and Administration. In 2007, he again became Director of the Cabinet of the Chief of the National Security Office and held this function until 2009, when he assumed the duties of Deputy Director of the Cabinet of the Chief of the Chancellery of the President of Poland. From 2011 to 2015, he worked in the Supreme Chamber of Control. In August 2015, Dariusz Gwizdała was appointed director of the Cabinet of the Head of the National Security Bureau.

As of 1 November 2016, Polish President Andrzej Duda appointed Dariusz Gwizdala as Deputy Head of the National Security Bureau.

Darius Gwizdała is a lawyer by education. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University, postgraduate studies in the University of Entrepreneurship and Management in Warsaw and the control application of the Supreme Chamber of Control.

His interests include administrative and financial law, military security, literature, history and economic relations. He is a controller of the Supreme Audit Office, currently on leave of absence. Private husband and father.
