Container transport requires the best security

Experts estimate that the TSL industry will grow dynamically and container transport, including intermodal transport, will become increasingly competitive. An important detail for this to happen is the well-protected transport units, which reduces the risk of damage to goods, improves delivery and improves service quality. Experts from Strong&Salamon have been "put a dot over i" for years in this area providing container seals to the leaders of the TSL industry.
The TSL industry has managed well despite the difficult economic situation caused by the pandemic, as confirmed by the 26th ranking of TSL companies published by the Journal of Legal Newspaper. The ranking shows that companies from this sector in 2020 saw revenue increases of 7.1%, employment increases of 30% and profitability of 26%.

Experts estimate that the TSL industry will continue to develop and container transport, including intermodal transport, will become increasingly competitive. In recent years it has been the most commonly used mode of transport and more and more cargo is carried in containers, which has been largely affected by the intensive development of e-commerce. The container, which is one well secured transport unit, is sealed throughout the transport. This makes the cargo easier to move, and above all better protected from theft and the influence of atmospheric agents. The role of transport security is well understood by experts in securing cargo from Strong&Salamon.
– Many of our customers in the TSL container and intermodal transport industry use Maxi Sal fillings, which provide a high level of security, and any traces of manipulation are visible on both the pin and the bottle housing. For years we have been providing container seals for PCC Intermodal for domestic and international transport organizations, which are based on regular, Polish and foreign rail connections between sea and land handling terminals – says Dagmara Puścikowska, Development Manager.
Container seals comply with ISO 17712, C-TPAT safety criteria, are also certified by the Institute of Precision Mechanics, as well as required for container transport to, among others, the United States, Japan and the United Arab Emirates.
– Customers use our products to seal means of transport, containers and railway cars, as well as to secure valuable loads. The seals are resistant to extreme temperature conditions and the tear strength is above 1000 kg. In addition, on each seal we make a permanent laser printing of double numbering on the pin and housing, which allows to clearly identify the seal, e.g. the moment of foundation, batch of goods - emphasises Dagmara Puścikowska, Development Manager.
