A Spanish fishing vessel sank off the coast of New Funland

On Tuesday morning a Spanish fishing vessel sank off the coast of the Atlantic island of New Funland, in the east of Canada. So far, as the media and the Spanish authorities say, only three crew members have been rescued.
By portal "El Diario" rescue services say the chances of catching living crew members of the "Vila de Titanxo" ship are slim due to low water temperature at the banks of New Funland.
The deaths among crew members of the ship confirmed in the afternoon's Maica Larrib announcement from the Spanish government's representation in the autonomous community of Galicia, in the northwest, from which the sunk unit originated.
According to Madrid's Cadena Ser station, the tragic event occurred at 6.00 Spanish time, and there were 22 people on the unit: twelve Spaniards, eight Peruvians and two Ghanaian citizens.
The station, quoting Larriba, indicated that the three previously rescued crew members had symptoms of hypothermia.
According to Larriba, the Spanish unit, constructed in 2004, sank under "very bad" atmospheric conditions.
