The US continues to strike Iran. Eighth Night of Attacks

The United States held on July 18, the eighth consecutive night of strikes at targets in Iran. The attacks included military facilities related to coastal protection and actions conducted by Tehran in the Ormuz Strait.

Americans attacked objects over the Ormuz Strait

U.S. Central Command reported that coastal observation facilities and posts were hit byanti-aircraft weapons. The strikes also included facilities related to Iranian naval forces, as well as warehouses with rocket missiles and unmanned aircraft.

Americans also attacked the positions of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. According to CENTCOM, they were used by forces responsible for an earlier attack on American soldiers in Jordan.

Another night of attacks increases the risk for ships passing through Ormuz Strait. Shipowners continue to restrict traffic and some units await entry into the Gulf or remain in ports.

CENTCOM released a video of the launch of fighters from the aircraft carrier, the launch of missiles from the U.S. Navy ship, and the impact on targets in Iran.
