PGE Baltica will take patronage over the new professional class in Ustka

The technology of renewable energy equipment and systems is a new direction of teaching, which will be opened in the General Education and Technical School Complex in Ustka from the beginning of the school year 2026/2027. PGE Baltica signed a letter of intent with the Słupski District, which runs the school, concerning cooperation in creating a new class.

Ustka: staff for offshore wind power

PGE Baltica has been working with the University school for three years. So far she has taken care of the class about the profiles of mechanics and mechatronic techniques. She has financially supported, among others, the equipment of the tool shop used by students, as well as the purchase of scientific assistance. PGE Baltica experts regularly visit students and teach them about offshore wind farms.

Now we want to bring this cooperation to a higher level. Our ambition is education at the level of the technical school of the best specialists in Poland prepared to work in the operation of offshore wind farms. It may be the best offshore elevator school in Poland, while responding to the need to educate qualified staff for the industry. We believe that the possibility of working at our Ustka operating and service base will be an additional motivation for students of the St.

New direction and way to work in the desk base PGE Baltica

The signed agreement with the Słupski District opens the way for the creation of a new direction of education in the school year 2026/2027 – renewable energy equipment and systems techniques. It provides for the patronage of PGE Baltic over the new class, substantive cooperation and other forms of commitment. Professional practices, visits to investment sites and participation of experts in lessons will be possible.

We are delighted that PGE Baltica sees its investment in the mouth comprehensively and wants to exploit the potential of our region. On the occasion of the signature of the letter of intent, the school debate entitled "Green Wind"with students and invited guests talking about how offshore wind energy can change the future of young people in the region.

The declaration of support from PGE Baltica for school development plans is a further continuation of our good cooperation primarily with regard to the future of teenage students, young people who need advice and guidance in choosing a professional road.

PGE Baltica of the PGE Group is currently implementing eight offshore wind farms projects, the most advanced of which is Baltica 2. This 1.5 GW PGE farm is being built jointly with Ørsted, and it is scheduled to start producing electricity in 2027. In the PGE Baltica mouth, it builds an operational and service base, which will serve in the first place precisely offshore wind farm Baltica 2, but has the potential to handle subsequent PGE projects at sea.
