The new inspection and inspection unit of the Maritime Office in Gdynia – Controller 23 started its service in the port of Gdynia

In recent days a new inspection and inspection unit of the Maritime Office in Gdynia – Controller 23 has arrived at the port of Ustka. It will replace the used and used Marzenka (year of construction: 1977) which will be put up for sale. The new unit will facilitate the execution of tasks for the officers of the Ustka Port Captainate and the Słupsk Delegation, and will undoubtedly improve the comfort of their work.
Controller 23 is a fast unit, manufactured by Techno Marine Sp. z o.o. from Malbork, as part of the project BC. "Replacement of rolling stock of floating Maritime Office in Gdynia". This action, through the support of EU funds, allowed the replacement of the Office's used rolling stock. More about the project: https://www.umzdy.gov.pl/?p=12568
The Baptism of the Controller 23 was held on 25 September in Gdynia, in parallel with the ceremony of raising the flag on the ship Zodiac II, as part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Polish maritime administration. After the necessary preparatory work has been carried out, it is finally time to enter the service in the mouth, where the Controller 23 will now have his base.
