The Almirante massacre fire near Goeteborg is still extinguishing

We still haven't been able to put out the fire that broke out on Saturday's mass ship. Almirante in the Kattegat Strait near Goeteborg. Two helicopters were included in the action – the Swedish Anti-crisis Office (MSB) reported on Sunday. There are 17 sailors on board the ship.

The helicopters sent by MSB are tasked with "bombing" the flames with water. Coast Guard units from Sweden and Denmark also participate in firefighting operations on site.

As reported, the fire digested about 30 percent of the load, which is wood, but on Sunday the spread of the fire was limited. Anchored hull bulk ship Almirante is fire-free. There are 17 sailors in the part not occupied by the flames who refused to leave the unit.

According to the MSB, there are also preparations to control the possible leak of the "larger amount of fuel" in which the ship is supplied.

The cause of the fire is unknown, the Swedish police do not suspect a crime has occurred yet.
